Holding Out HELP provides those who come from a polygamous culture the resources needed to transition from isolation to independence. We build upon the courage they have shown and hope to bring them to place of confidence, stability and self-sufficiency.

Sources have estimated there are as many as 60,000 fundamentalist polygamist group members in the United States. Polygamist communities often self-isolate in an effort to control their environment and keep individuals and families contained. The needs of those leaving these polygamist communities throughout Utah often go unaddressed due to fear and lack of knowledge about mainstream society.

Holding Out HELP bridges the gap between their culture and ours to help ease them into mainstream society. We provide access to shelter, food, clothing, education, counseling and unconditional love and support. No other organization is serving this specific population to the same degree or with the same knowledge of how best to integrate them into a life that will provide them the opportunity to be successfully independent.

Holding Out HELP is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization. All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
